£38,000 pa - £40,000 pa + depending on experience

Days Monday to Friday 

The Company

A privately owned Food Manufacturing business is growing sales, profitability and their product range, whilst making substantial investments to expand their UK operations and surpass competitors.  They have a strong reputation for producing some of the highest quality products within their market.

The Role

Managing a team of 30 - 40 production personnel, the Production Manager will ensure the achievement of key production objectives through the efficient planning of manpower, raw materials, production schedules and labour budgets for their production team.

Other responsibilities will include the training and development of production staff to lean standards, providing health & safety induction training, supervising product changeovers and implementing systems to better understand efficiencies and production performance. 

Coordinating with other departmental managers, The Production Manager will initiate and lead production improvement projects, support site audits and ensure the delivery of targeted KPI’s on Waste, Downtime, Absence, Quality, Yield, and Equipment Effectiveness.

The Person

Candidates ‘must have’ at least 18 months experience of managing production teams within a Food Manufacturing environment and the ability to communicate & influence team members and peers. A demonstrable track-record of implementing Production Improvements will benefit your application, as will a track record in developing and mentoring a production team. Ref 3245

The Salary offered is £38,000 pa - £40,000 pa + 25 days Holiday + Private Healthcare + Pension.
